The first step towards optimum health is to recover the body’s pH to the alkaline range (pH 6.4-7.0). Almost all chronic illness takes place in a body that has become acidic due to the gradual depletion of its mineral reserves.  If the body is in an acid state for years, sick the hidden disease in our gene deck becomes activated, story as if we are in necrosis.  An alkaline body is capable of successfully repressing the diseases that are connected to our DNA.

All chemical reactions in the body function optimally in the right pH.  Many processes will not function at all if the body is not in the ideal range.  Proteins will wilt in acid.  If the overall body pH becomes acidic, it becomes harder and harder for the body to uptake other nutrients, such as minerals, vitamins or herbs. An acidic pH creates a hostile internal environment, like a raging storm, making the body struggle to get the nutrients it needs. The more acidic you become, the worse you will most likely feel. Common symptoms of acidic pH are: feeling lousy, pessimistic, angry, irritable, fatigue, no Energy and no desire to help others.

As the body comes into better balance (pH 6.4 to 7.0), it is like a sunny spring day; your body can easily assimilate minerals that were very difficult to absorb at a more acid pH. In an alkaline environment, you have abundant oxygen. As the pH of the urine drops, less and less oxygen is available to the tissues. Small changes of 1/10 to 2/10 in pH can mean 10 to 20 times more oxygen availability.

Our blood needs a specific ratio of calcium to phosphorus. 
A very easy way to gauge the foods we eat is the calcium to phosphorus ratio. Our body needs 2 parts calcium to 1 part phosphorus.  The body will struggle and work hard to keep the blood in this ratio, even going to the extreme of dissolving bone mass to increase the calcium levels in the blood.
Milk, is a high calcium food, but it is also a high phosphorus food: 1 part calcium to 1 part phosphorus.  This is why people who drank milk their entire life as a calcium source end up with hollow bones.
Meat is 44 parts phosphorus to 1 part calcium.  So, if you’re eating meat, you’re going to need a lot of calcium to compensate.

The more cooked the food the more acidic it becomes.
When food is denatured by heat, it becomes something entirely different than nature and our bodies desires.  The most important food we can eat: raw greens (romaine, red and green leafy lettuce, kale, etc.) which are rich in calcium, minerals, protein, and chlorophyll. Calcium: Source Matters!
Calcium is a metal.   And it comes to us in many forms.  From rust: calcium oxide, to Chalk: Calcium Carbonate.  The right form of calcium is the most important mineral we consume.  It is used in practically every bodily function; from digestion to the brain.   The most important thing to consider when choosing your calcium supplement: living source.

If the calcium comes from inert, non-organic sources it is more likely to plug up the system; cataracts, kidney stones, bone spurs, etc.   Calcium needs a “living signature” or to be processed by a living organism before we can effectively utilize it in our body.  The best way to get calcium is from green foods.  Unfortunately, most soil is depleted of calcium decades ago, so calcium needs to be supplemented in order to get sufficient quantity.  Ionized calcium found in coral is another good choice.  Quality matters.

How to test PH?
Simple: use or pH Paper Roll, tear off an inch and test your first morning urine!  Later in the day is no good as certain foods, like sugar, can cause one to urinate out more minerals.  If our mineral reserves are good enough to have a decent pH first thing in the morning, your in good shape!  Saliva testing is no good, as there is supposed to be rich alkaline minerals in our saliva to help with digestion.

First morning pH of 6.0 or so is in need of work
pH below 6.0 is moderate crisis, below 5.5 is severe.
